Routine appointments may now be booked on the day,  there are also some appointments available for the next day and up to 2 weeks in advance although if requested by your doctor you may book further in advance.  Emergency appointments are booked the same day. Reception is open from 8.00am Monday to Friday - Telephone 0121 465 5739

Out of Hours Call:

0121 465 5739 Our out of hours service is provided by NHS 111. When the surgery is closed, by ringing the surgery telephone number, you will asked to telephone NHS 111 this is a free telephone number.

Nurse Practitioners

Paulette is a fully qualified prescribing nurse practitioner, she can deal with all minor illnesses including chest infections.

Nurses

We have 2 practice nurses who perform tasks under the direction of the doctors. They also run health promotion clinics in conjunction with the doctors. Appointments with them can be made through the receptionists. Some tasks performed by the nurses (eg ear syringing) can only be done after the patient has seen the doctor and others can only be done when there is a doctor on the premises. These rules are for your safety.

Healthcare Assistants

We have 3 well trained health care assistants whose role is to assist the doctors and nurses with procedures and to run clinics where treatment requires as stable.  Amongst other things the HCAs will take blood, take your blood pressure, they may well also record your ability to breath and record details for patients' 6 monthly diabetes checks
