Requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone.
You are able to make a repeat prescription request online.
You can also come to the practice to leave or make a prescription request – there is a prescription box at reception to post your requests.
Alternatively your prescription requests may also be faxed.
Please allow 48 hours (two working days), excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please contact the practice.
Please also note that the doctor may wish to see you before issuing a further prescription.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).
The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
View the cost of prescriptions on the NHS website.
